Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 1, 2026

By using prismCalc, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable because we value your time.

1. The Deal

prismCalc is a calculation tool. It is provided "as-is." We work hard to ensure every calculation is precise, but we aren't responsible for any financial decisions, math errors, or missed tips resulting from the use of the app. Always double-check important numbers.

2. One Purchase, All Devices

When you upgrade to prismCalc Pro, that purchase follows your Apple ID. Available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Billing and refunds are managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

3. Ownership

The code, design, and "liquid-glass" aesthetic are the property of LaClair Technologies. Please don't copy, reverse-engineer, or steal our work. We're a small team and we put a lot of heart into this.

4. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaClair Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app.

5. Warranty Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LACLAIR TECHNOLOGIES DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to prismCalc at any time if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the app and delete all copies. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Ownership, Liability, Warranty Disclaimer, and Governing Law) will remain in effect.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of prismCalc shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of the State of New Hampshire, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

9. Contact

If something isn't working or you have a suggestion, we want to hear it: [email protected].
